Writing

Many people have to write at work. Good writing should be clear and concise so that it communicates with others easily. This does not mean that you must not use long words or technical terms, e.g. ‘consortium’ (which is a word used often in this office). Indeed, there may be times when you need to use specialist words, for instance when you are writing a report, but this is only worthwhile if other people can understand your meaning.
